Betatron, as well as the other Trons, are based on the rail car from the Microrail City playset. They all utilize the same basic body shape and mechanics. All of the Trons are battery-powered, goofy walking toys. They really have little to do with the general Micronauts line, unless you want to use them to run amok through the ranks of the Acroyears!
The Betatron does the Somersaultic Stride, Hopamatic Hop and Wobblematic Walk!
It is also interesting to note that the Trons are the only Micronauts outside of the aliens that were not based on Microman toys.
